Not good: Not wise to go to bed with anything in your mouth as it could accidentally be aspirated. Cough drops high in sugar which feed the bacteria that cause cavities. Sore on tongue and inflamed gums may be from other oral problems. Pleased see your Dentist for appropriate treatment.
