As a young: individual the normal heart rate is very broad (40 to 180 BPM) In addition the heart is very responsive to small stimuli like laughing or talking. Sounds like pretty normal physiology for a 16 year old but if you are concerned you should be evaluated by a health care professional and given a monitor to wear and correlate heart rate and rhythm with your symptoms.
