A member asked:

I'm on spironolactone, metformin & lisinopril. im not on birth control - do those meds pose a risk to a pregnancy? (not ttc now but it could happen)

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Lisinopril should be avoided if there's any chance of pregnancy as there is risk of fetal damage and death. Spironolactone has anti-androgen (feminizing) effects and also should be avoided. Metformin is very low risk and okay to use.
