Bruising is normal: Bruising is normal after a fracture. If the pain continues to worsen the elbow should be reevaluated by a physician.

Followup: I would just make sure you Followup with your orthopedic surgeon till you are fully recovered. Some degree of pain and bruising is common following that fracture. Make sure your surgeon is aware and keep your appointments through your recovery.
