A member asked:

Sudden high bp/pulse, flushing, vertigo, intestinal spasms, violent(mucus only)diarrhea, nausea/vomiting. lasts 1/2-1 hr. vasovagal or something else?

Rare disorders: While rare, you should be tested (with special blood samples) to exclude carcinoid syndrome and pheochromocytoma. You probably don't have either one because they're quite rare, but your symptoms are suspicious and, if recurrent, testing is certainly indicated.
