can activated charcoal absorb bad viruses/bacteria in the body?like after being exposed to norovirus would one benefit from taking charcoal for a week

Unfortunately, no: Sorry, but this won't have any effect on either preventing infection or making symptoms better. If you develop nausea, vomiting, and/or diarrhea, be in touch with your doctor about medications to help control symptoms. Good luck!
