I have a painful feeling in my upper right abdomen under my rib age. it feels like a stitch in my side that won't go away?

Abdominal discomfort: You don't mention how long you've had this symptom. Discomfort in the right upper abdomen can be from gall bladder or liver inflammation. It could also be simply a muscular inflammation, strain or pinched nerve. If symptoms persist and especially if there's associated tenderness, have a physician examine and advise you. Appropriate testing would be done.
