Blocked ear: When you get the Cold, the end of what is called Eustachian tubes (canal between the ear and throat) get congested and blocked, and your middle ear blocks as well causing partial deafness. You might need to see your doctor to examine you and to get some medicine to reduce the congestion and relieve your symptoms.
