Diet & medication: Assuming you have already seen a Dr who diagnosed the reflux... Reduce caffeine & alcohol intake, weight loss, stop smoking, avoid lying down or bending down for 60 mins after eating, try a medicine like omeprazole which can be brought from a pharmacist (this works best when taken for at least a week and when taken 30-60min before food).

Reflux: Reflux means many things to different people. Usually it refers to reflux or gastritis. Over the counter antacids (tablets or liquid) may help. Milk may soothe symptoms but can potentially make it worse. You may want to try small frequent meals, avoidance of smoking and alcohol, and avoiding caffeine and chocolate. Eat dinner early and do not lay down after eating. Need more info for treatment

It’s important to know reflux often leads to significant dental damage. Consult with your dentist about protective trays that can be used with baking soda-xylitol gel at night. Use of a high fluoride toothpaste will help as well. Regular dental visits will catch complications early but patients must do more than just brush and floss.
