Few Options: Scars from Zoster can run deep, making removing them very difficult without damaging the rest of the cornea. Vision correcting surgery (LASIK,PRK, etc.) are not indicated nor useful for corneal scars. If the scar is not in the center of vision it is left alone; if it is severely affecting you, a corneal transplant may be the only option.
