Urinalysis neg,scope showed urethritis.not std. tried many antibiotics,not working.is there still hope of it going away after 2 years? can it be cpps?

Maybe, maybe not: The chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS) is not the same as urethritis: CPPS causes pain and discomfort in the lower abdomen and pelvic area, but does not explain urethritis seen with urethrosopy. However, if your doctor isn't certain about urethritis, CPPS could explain other symptoms. However, it's not serious or dangerous; some men just have to live with CPPS symptoms. Discuss with urologist.
