Expired lenses: The issue is the decreased ability of expired contact lenses to allow oxygen to pass through to the cornea. Deceased oxygen to the cornea increases risk of pannus (new blood vessels to cornea) and like increased risk of dry eye in future. See Eyedoc2020.blogspot.com for more info.
