Get checked out: A rash on a penis can be many things. It can be an allergic reaction to detergent/soap, can be dry skin, it could be an STD like herpes, or a bacterial skin infection or a yeast or fungal infection. I would recommend that someone with a rash on their penis go in to be seen either at their primary care doctors office, an urgent care center or a urologist. I wouldn't wait to see if it goes away.
