Taking 100mg doxycycline twice a day for 7 days for chlamydia. forgot meds when went away! so in total i missed 3 doses. 5.5 days in. do i still take ?

Probably OK: Despite the 7 day recommendation, many people miss a few doses and treatment usually remains effective. But maybe not always. Clearing of symptoms is a good sign, but not proof the infection is gone. Wait 3 weeks then get retested. (Retesting is not valid until at least 3 weeks after finishing treatment.) Continue to avoid sex in the meantime -- or if sex is inevitable, use condoms for sure.
