Beer and chf : You should discuss your diagnosis with your doctor and get an understanding of what is wrong and what you need to be doing going forward.

Avoid alcohol.: I hope you are well. You are on medications that interact with each other (propranolol and PTU) and adding alcohol would worsen the interactions. The effects of propranolol are increased by alcohol. Propranolol can worsen heart failure. PTU can also increase the effects of propranolol. I suggest that you have a medication review with your primary care professional, ASAP. I hope this helps.

Beer and CHF?: Alcohol depresses cardiac output and is bad on the heart in CHF. Discuss with your team first. Don't mess with your heart!
