Need work up: Compression of blood vessels or nerves can do this. Thoracic outlet syndrome is part of the diagnostic possibilities.

Thoracic Outlet: This may possibly be thoracic outlet syndrome (tos) which is a disorder in which some of the nerves going to your arm are compressed by either muscle fibers, portions of the bones of the neck or collar bone, or of tough bands in an area roughly in the space confined to just above your collar bone. Physical therapy is often the best treatment, but consult with a vascular surgeon.
