? Hepatitis: Why were these tests done and who ordered the tests? All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, the elevated liver enzymes indicate liver cell damage and if you have not consulted a doctor for an evaluation, it would be prudent to do that at the earliest.
