Need a prescription: COX-2 inhibitor medication, like Celebrex, is not available without prescription from a doctor. The closest over-the-counter alternatives are ibuprofen (e.g Advil) and naproxen (e.g. Aleve). If you need a pain or anti-inflammatory medication for more than very short courses (2-3 days), you should discuss your condition with a healthcare provider.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
