Hard to say/depends,: This disease is characterized by a rash in the nipple area that can result in flaky, scaly skin. This and other symptoms tend to come and go, but if there is a rash in the nipple area that does not heal in over one month it would be a good idea to see a doctor for an exam with likely referral to a doctor who specializes in that field. Best of luck.
