Wrist pain: It sounds like an overuse syndrome. Is it your dominate hand? What do you do for a living or recreation? Is there a specific activity or position that makes it better or worse? Weight gain?. There are many causes depending on the the exact location of the pain but if there is an obvious cause then that should be addressed. Simple analgesia, wrist exercises, or a splint may help.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is diagnosis for serious problems with wrist. So far you need to give more rest to your wrist and some Advil or Motrin 2 tablets 2-3 times a day for week.
