Cellulitis?: The same infection could be spreading onto the face i.e. cellulitis. If you or whoever has this problem (your child?) is already being treated for it, maybe with an antibiotic, contact the doctor again and follow her advice. If not yet in care, or if any fever, see a doctor immediately -- including ER or urgent care if your regular doctor isn't available. Good luck!
