No, it's not: Whether it is SAFER than cigarettes, however, is another question. It most likely is safer, because it has fewer dangerous chemicals than burnt tobacco does, but it still has a lot of unknowns. Different e-cigs and devices for delivering the nicotine come with different liquid propellants, and many of these have formaldehyde and other toxins. Best thing is to quit. 2nd best-nicotine patches etc.

You (the patient) need to define "safe". But by most people's definition of "safe", e-cigarettes are NOT. I agree that while they MAY be safer than cigarettes, they are by no means completely safe. It is better to use other forms of nicotine (like the patch) as PART of an overall plan to quit nicotine / smoking addiction. A good doctor should be able to help you through it, or HealthTap Prime.
