A member asked:

Is iodized salt better to use than non-iodized salt for a healthy thyroid gland? is it harmful to use iodized salt daily?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No problem: You can get lots of iodine your food with or without salt -- primarily from bread if it's produced in mass in a factory. Iodized salt doesn't harm you or your thyroid in any way.
