He needs evaluation: If he does not feel well, it would be reasonable to advise him to consult a doctor without any assumption by you or by him that his symptoms are due to or related to "sex/oral". There may not be any problem at all.

Probably unrelated: If your sexual history is correct, then obviously it's not an STD. You don't say what symptoms your partner has or how soon they started after oral sex. Also clarify details of oral sex: you to him, him to you, or both? Vaginal sex also? Most likely his illness has nothing to do with the sexual exposure, just coincidence in timing.
