Find the cause first: A person first needs to find the cause of the headaches and then treat the cause. Of course, the headache could be the problem itself, but the type of headache matters. One also needs to start a headache diary to help her doctor when she sees him. Here's a great link on headache diaries to get you started. Then go see your doctor. http://www.headaches.org/for_professionals/headache_diary.

See your doctor: New onset of headaches warrant a work up. Most headaches not serious. However, first your doctor will determine what type of headache you have. Headaches have many causes i suggest you see your physician and discuss a plan to determine the cause. Your doctor might order imaging of brain and optic nerve exam to rule out serious conditions.
