Can i use expired fluticasone?

Generally: most expiration dates are very "conservative" and drugs are potent long after their "expiration dates' HOWEVER it is NOT a WISE thing to do..Ask your Pharmacist to call the Prescriber for a refill!!! Probably OK: Drug expiration dates reflect the time of proved safety and effectiveness. But in almost all cases, the drug remains potent and safe for much longer (often many years), if it hasn't been exposed to high heat for long periods (like a car's glove compartment in summer). It's always safest to get a refill, but most likely the expired fluticasone will work just fine.
