My daughters thumb is hurting like inside her thumb but i don't know if i should visit a doctor.

Need information: She should be evaluated if the thumb is red or swollen or if she is unable to move it, I.e, bend and extend it, and the symptoms last more than a day or two. If it just a little stiff and the finger looks normal otherwise, it is reasonable to wait a few days.
