Yeast?: The main cause of vaginal area itching is yeast infection. Antibiotic ointment wouldn't help, might make it worse. Best get care to confirm diagnosis. But if not at risk for STDs and no open sores in the irritated area, maybe try an OTC vaginal yeast treatment. Choose any with "azole" active ingredient (clotrimazole, miconazole, etc); pharmacist can help. For sure see doc if no help after 2-3 days
