While certainly not: an expert, my understanding is a Schedule A letter is something you can get from your physician outlining a disability you may. This letter enables you to be considered for jobs in the Federal government without having to compete with the general public. Some people may be receiving Social Security disability benefits; others may not. Being on disability isn't necessary. Go to dol.gov. Good luck!
