A member asked:

Could an ft3 of 5.4 (range 2.2 - 4.0) and a tbg of 32 (range 14-31) with atsh of 1.6 and a ft4 of 1.12 be thyrotoxicosis or rth?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unusual: That combination of results is unusual. Doubt it might be thyrotoxicosis, but more likely a variation due to increased TBG. Most common cause of increased TBG is hormonal meds like, BCPs. Acute illness can cause the changes you report too. Needs follow up with your doctor or endocrinologist
