Probably OK, but...: Most likely it is safe, but first check what it says on any post-op written instructions he was given. Or contact the urologist or whoever did the vasectomy. Don't forget it takes a few weeks (and many ejaculations) after vasectomy for men to become reliably infertile. Keep using other contraception for now.
