Do you know for sure: that you don't have BV? I recommend that you find out before you try to "get rid of old semen." While I'm not a fan of "douching", once a vaginal infection is ruled out, that's something you might try. Dr. Anne

Douche.: You could douche but it's not recommended because it can mess with your normal bacteria that are there which can increase problems later. If you can wait then try to wait it out, it should naturally all come out. If you can't wait then a douche might be the best option.
