My fianc woke up this morning, looked at the weather on his phone then upon standing had a dark film over his vision. it lasted about five minutes.

Orthostatic: Was he dizzy or light headed? The symptoms in both eyes and the transient nature of the symptoms would suggest a blood flow issue. Unlikely to be a primary problem with the eyes given both were effected.
