Normal Variant?: The shape of the chest and the displacement of nipples could signal other associated abnormalites in syndromic conditions. A shield shaped chest with widely spaced nipples is common in Turner Syndrome. A thorough evaluation by your MD to examine for other associated finding will be useful in determining if the placement of the breasts is a normal variant or evidence of genetic abnormality.
