Need More Info: Your period starting with a brownish discharge is not at all uncommon. Some things that would make me more concerned for PCOS are whether periods are regular, do you have any increased body or facial hair growth, do you still get a lot of acne, do you have areas of darkening of the skin on your neck or elbows and more.
