A member asked:

I have been diagnosed with dermatophytosis 2 years ago.i was prescribed with following ointment:beclomin, kezin-b,it still spreads.what should i dr.?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Wrong Rx: Forgive my frankness. Beclomin is beclomethasone in most countries, or so I read online. It's not the right medication for a superficial skin fungus. I can't find Kezin-B. There are a variety of good over-the-counter medications for superficial skin fungi -- ketoconazole and tolnaftate are two choices. Get with a physician who's got some expertise in skin. Best wishes.
