Pregnent?: Many home pregnancy tests claim to be accurate as early as the first day of a missed period — or even before. You're likely to get more accurate results, however, if you wait until after the first day of your missed period or, better yet, one week after your missed period. http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/getting-pregnant/in-depth/home-pregnancy-tests/art-20047940

This could easily result in pregnancy but you remember that the average adult non-contracepting woman only has about a 20% chance of getting pregnant in a given month. Targeting ovulation time likely increases this. But what about him pulling out? Is he "on the same page?"
