I have tried 3 antidepressants and all have given me bad side effects. could increasing the dosage help or should i keep trying different ones?

Antidepressants: There are different "families" of antidepressants. If your doc has given you several different SSRIs and you have had a negative experience, ask him/her to consider giving you a medication from another family or group. Psychotherapy is useful also and the combo of the two very good. Peace and good health.

Speak to doctor: to see if you would benefit from dose adjustment of current medication.I would l aso advise seeing a behavioral psychotherapist for ongoing CBT ( cognitive behavioral therapy. Both medicine and therapeutic counseling are additive and effective.
