There are a number: of teeny mites that grow on the face and like to live in the eyelashes. Demodex folliculorum. This is the most likely explanation for your symptoms. You should see a health care provider for evaluation and to receive appropriate prescription therapy. (Dermatologist) In the meantime wash your face and eyes twice a day with a gentle facial soap and washcloth.
