A member asked:

17yo f. peg tube placed sept 16'. ripped out oct 16'. new long tube with internal ballon placed. how much drainage is normal? excessive granulation.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See MD: Small amount of drainage are normal with a PEG, but if more than a little I would see her doctor. Also, granulation tissue needs to be treated usually, so both should be taken care of. I would suggest an appointment with the surgeon or GI than placed the tube.
