No problems: dinking water that has piece of aluminum foil should have no health problems, aluminum foil are designed to come on contact with hot and cold food with no health concerns

Foil: don't worry!! you don't have to do anything if it was just an uncontaminated foil. see your doctor if you develop any gastrointestinal symptoms.

Water : No reports of permanent damage or diseases from such a case. Even eating a piece of foil, though never recommended, will not cause permanent damage if small piece and one time event.
