Right sided pain: Irregular bleeding is typical of the Progesterone only birth control pill. A combined oral contraceptive might be a better option if you would like better menstrual cycle control. Right lower abdominal pain has a lot of possible causes. If the pain is severe then appendicitis needs to be ruled out by a doctor.
