No: A person can eat healthy foods in proper amounts (less food than before), exercise several times a week, avoid sugar and simple starches, avoid drinks containing sugar, and thus lose weight (plus keep it off) without any "detox". The "detox" teas and products are sold to earn money for the merchants and manufacturers. Humans bodies are "self-cleaning", so don't need to spend money on "detox".
