A member asked:

How likely is it that a pvc ablation will be successful when you are having about 3,000 pvcs a day? is that level of pvcs dangerous?

3000 PVC's per day: equates to a frequency of about 4% PVC's. This has the potential for development of a Cardiomyopathy. With mapping and experience an EP MD should easily be able to target the source and ablate the PVCs without complication. Drug therapy could also be useful but associated with side effects. Discuss the pro's and cons with your Cardiologist and ask for referral to an EP for a learned opinion.
