No: Teeth are actually slightly mobile due to the periodontal ligament which holds them in place. They can be moved orthodontically when slow, continuous forces are placed on them over an extended period of time. Touching your teeth intermittently with your fingers will not permanently move them. See your dentist to have your occlusion evaluated.

No guilt: You didn't cause your teeth to move by touching them. That said, there's a reason why they are moving. Please see your Dentist or, preferably, an Orthodontist to determine the cause of the instability and the appropriate treatment.

No: Orthodontic appliances work by exerting light continuous pressure in specific directions while guarding against harmful movements. You cannot do that with your fingers. If you're serious about having straight teeth, make an appointment to see an orthodontist. If your teeth have shifted you may want to consult with a periodontist first and find out why
