How much pain?: I will depend upon how severe the pain is and whether it is tolerable by you or not. Severe pain usually requires Laparoscopy after ultrasonography confirms the cyst's presence to resolve the pain with aspiration or removal of the ovary. Oral contraceptives are often the non surgical approach to cyst resolution if pain is not a factor.
