Pathologic myopia: Pathologic or degenerative myopia is high myopia (-6.00D), also known as near-sightedness, with any posterior myopia-specific pathology from axial elongation (meaning changes inside the eye/the retina due to the bigger eyeball length). Excessive computer work, near work is causing an epidemic of myopia & pathologic myopia. See: http://eyedoc2020.blogspot.com/2016/11/pathologic-myopia-or-degenerati
