Little or no risk: You already have your own E. coli; we all have it in our intestines. If exposed to someone's urinary tract E. coli, there is no risk. OTOH, if someone around you has had diarrhea caused by E. coli from contaminated food, you need to be careful to avoid infection yourself, i.e. proper food handling, hand washing, etc. You're unlikely to get it via clothing, but launder it to be extra safe.
