Several Kinds: You really need to see a psychiatrists to get started on the proper medicine. They will make sure there is nothing else medically going on and get you on the medicine that is the safest and most likely to help. If you don't have a psychiatrists speak to your primary care doctor.

Antipsychotics, SSRI: If someone has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, the usual medication used is an antipsychotic medication. There are 2 broad categories (typical/atypical), each with their own pros and cons. Panic disorder can be treated in the long term with SSRIs and/or cognitive behavioural therapy. Short term relief of panic attacks is frequently treated with short-acting benzodiazepines (e.g. lorazepam).

It's common to have heightened anxiety as a consequence of ongoing psychosis, in which case treatment of the psychotic illness often improves anxiety. As stated: see a psychiatrist for individualized evaluation and treatment.
