Lymph nodes: There may be inflamed lymph nodes in your armpit. Glands can get tender during Snd after menstruation. Maybe you have an underlying infection brewing somewhere? If you can definitely feel no lumps at all then this may be referred pain from elsewhere. You will need a proper examination by a doctor to determine the cause.

I would not put: it past your period to cause all kinds of weird symptoms. However any change in your menstrual symptoms warrants a pregnancy test and recheck in 1-2 weeks. If they are both negative, and you do not feel morning sickness, then watch to see if the axillary (aka fancy term for armpit) pain would go away spontaneously. If it doesn't, then it's time to visit the healthcare professional for help.
